The City of Litchfield Park’s Preschool Program is currently accepting enrollments on a first come, first served basis for morning and afternoon programs for the upcoming school year, which begins the week of August 26, 2013 and runs through the third week of May. Eligible students must be at least 3 years old on or before September 1, 2013 and fully potty-trained.
The Litchfield Park Preschool is a state licensed program offering many opportunities for children to discover and learn while exploring the world around them. Progressive theme-based curriculums will include story time, art, creative social play, music & movement and alpha-numeric concepts within a sensitive and safe learning environment. Low teacher to student ratios will be offered within a flexible structure geared towards total growth and development of children.
The Litchfield Park Preschool is an official sponsor of the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) Empower Center and adheres to the Empower Program’s best practices. This includes incorporating physical activity, health education and nutrition education into the everyday activities of the Preschool Program. Food and drink snacks are carefully selected and served with the prevention of childhood obesity in mind.
The Preschool will offer a “Adventures in Learning Program” for 3 and 4 year olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The “ABC Explorers Program” is for 4 and 5 year olds and classes will be help on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Both programs allow parents to select either the morning session – 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. or afternoon session – 11:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. Details on each preschool program is accessible through the City’s online registration website. Online registration is not available for the Preschool program. New enrollments are accepted any time during the school year, providing classroom space is available.

Parents will be required to provide copies of your child’s birth certificate and immunization record prior to enrollment. A parent/teacher conference is scheduled after the first month’s tuition is paid and the child is entered on the roster. All paperwork and parent/teacher conferences must be completed before your child can start school.
